Some accomplishments

• Successful transformation of the Sedco 707 from shallow water anchor to Ultra deep water “Dp” working for Petrobras.
• Start up of the "DP" vessel “Amethyst 1” for Petrobras working in up to 3000' performing completions, workovers and well repairs.
• Re-fit of the "DP" Drill ship "Sedco 472" and start up of her contract for Petrobras in the Campos Basin.
• Successfully drilled relieve well for the “Anchovy” blow out in shallow water “DP” mode with the "DP" Semi-Sub "Sedco 709".
• Winner CAODC safety award leading a crew for 250 working days without a lost time accident 1985.
• Build and install a new uptake riser for the Petrobras production platform  P-23 made by “Allstate” on "Amethyst 1"
• Build and install 18.3/4 inch 15000 psi Hydrill BOP onboard "DP" vessel "Sedco 707", test and run same in 6500' water with no apparent operational problems!
• The very successful building and startup of the 5th generation DP vessel “Pride Brazil” with very little down time and accident free in her first six months of operation offshore Macae, Brazil. (Drill Supt.)
