• Good understanding of “Nautronics” and “Kongsberg Simrad” DP station keeping systems.
• Good understanding of “Siemens” DMS computer controlled engine room and ballast control systems.
• Very good understanding of Sub-Sea BOP stacks and associated equipment.
• Strong in computer systems and networking using NT 4.xx
• Good understanding of Lloyd’s and ABS certifications.
• Helped implement the ISM code on “Pride Brazil”.
• Commissioning of drilling systems and related equipment.
• Working knowledge of the “Cyber base” computerized drilling control systems.
• Commissioning and Acceptance of drilling vessels and their equipment.
• Rigging up and installation of drilling equipment on new builds
